For Visiting Students & Scholars
If you are interested in visiting the lab and conducting research as a visiting student or scholar, please email Dr. Yaochun Yu with the following information:
- A brief description of your research interests
- A summary of the project you would like to pursue during your visit, how it aligns with the lab’s focus, and the expected outcome
- Information about your funding source(s) (e.g., home institution, government program, or fellowship)
- Your proposed visit duration and expected timeline
Due to potential limitations in lab and office space, and in the interest of maintaining a fair and supportive research environment, priority will be given to:
- Students whose proposed visit is of a reasonable duration and has the potential to generate meaningful scientific outcomes that contribute to their academic growth;
- Scholars whose research closely aligns with the lab’s focus and shows strong potential for future collaboration—especially those whose visit could foster lab-to-lab, department-to-department, or university-to-university partnerships
To ensure the quality of mentorship/discussion and effective use of lab resources, we aim to avoid over-concentration of visiting researchers at any given time. We believe it is important to provide thoughtful guidance and create a productive experience for each visitor, and we appreciate your understanding of these considerations.
